Can we get medication from the vet or something in order to have these things done. She allows us to bathe her but only quickly. I am so upset as she needs help but she also has severe separation anxiety. Thank you so much for your help.

Find a different groomer.

Maybe your dog is not "traumatized" but simply a spoiled brat?

Please adopt from a shelter, please don't buy a Shorkie-they are bred by irresponsible breeder that have poor temperment including aggression, genetic faults and behavioural problems, only way to avoid the aggressive tendancies in this mix is to adopt from a shelter, pound or rescue organisation, they are thoroughly temperment tested.

You need to socialise the dog all the time that you can spare. With people, crowds, dogs, cats, children, men, loud traffic etc etc. Training is very easy. I found before giving the pup its dinner was a great time to start…

For example, sit on the floor and hold the bowl up to shoulder height. Wait for the puppy to calmly smell the food and wait, and start to be calm. Ask the puppy to sit and gently press down its rear, then praise highly, stroke him or her on the head, and present them with their dinner.

My dogs got this after a few days. Then move on to lay down, and give me your paw and take it from there.
