  • What does the marks on shih tzus mean?

    I been seeing ads from breeders of shih tzus and they were mentioning 21 red marks 3 green marks and stuffs like that. What does that mean?
    "Red Marks" = Red Ink
    TITLED animals are in red on the Pedigree.
    "Pups" do not get any titles. Adult, QUALITY, SHOWN-TO-TITLES dogs do.
    Those are the proof of their quality.

  • Why do Pugs and Shih-Tzus have curly tails if they are not spitz type dogs?

    Since I have gotten my Shih-Tzu mix and my Pug, I have been wondering about this.
    All of the below breeds have curled tails. Only a few are Spitz.
    Chinese Shar-pei,
    Pugs,
    Alaskan Malamute,
    sometimes defected Huskies have them,
    I think Toy Poodles do, though I haven’t seen many without a docked tail,
    Pomeranian,
    Afghan Hounds have a ringed-tail,
    Norwegian Elkhound,
    Samoyed,
    Tibetan Mastiff,
    Javanese,
    Japanese Chin,
    Maltese,
    Papillion,
    Pekingese,
    Shih Tzu,
