  • Why do Pugs and Shih-Tzus have curly tails if they are not spitz type dogs?

    Since I have gotten my Shih-Tzu mix and my Pug, I have been wondering about this.
    All of the below breeds have curled tails. Only a few are Spitz.
    Chinese Shar-pei,
    Pugs,
    Alaskan Malamute,
    sometimes defected Huskies have them,
    I think Toy Poodles do, though I haven’t seen many without a docked tail,

  • What is good for removing tears/tear stains from shih tzus face?

    My shih tzu produces a large amount of tears. I have tried wet wash cloths but, they dont seem to help. The tear spots smell awful. I dont want to have to wash his face constantly. I just need some sort of solution to run on the spot under his eyes.
